1990
The Beginning of a Legacy
Mohsin Dharsi and his brother Sajjad Dharsi established Karachi Cargo Services (KCS), laying the foundation for what would become one of Pakistan’s leading air cargo and freight forwarding organizations.
1993
Joining the Global Network
KCS achieved IATA accreditation, enabling the company to operate according to international standards and opening the door to global partnerships.
1995-2005
Expanding Across Pakistan
KCS established its own presence in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Sialkot, strengthening its nationwide logistics network and becoming one of Pakistan’s leading IATA freight forwarders.

Expanding into Aviation
KN Aviation was established to provide airline representation and commercial aviation services, marking the family’s entry into the aviation services sector.
Feb 2012
Entrepreneurial Innovation
Penta Enterprises was founded to explore emerging business opportunities, beginning with Call A Rik, an early attempt to modernize urban transportation through technology.
Feb 2015
Entering E-Commerce
Penta launched Dawaee.pk, expanding into digital healthcare and online retail long before e-commerce became mainstream in Pakistan.
2017
Strengthening Airline Representation
KN Aviation became a Private Limited Company, positioning itself for international growth and airline partnerships.
2020
Building Strategic Partnerships
Global Agencies Management (GAM) was established with Hassan Dharsi joining as Director, bringing together experienced aviation professionals to represent international airlines in Pakistan.
2021
Investing in Human Capital
Aviation + DG Training School was established to develop aviation professionals through internationally recognized Dangerous Goods and aviation training programs.
2022
Promoting Pakistan to the World
Nagar Organic was launched to promote premium fruits from Gilgit-Baltistan and connect Pakistani agriculture with international markets.
2023
International Recognition
Aviation + DG Training School became one of Pakistan’s first IATA CBTA-accredited training providers, contributing to the country’s transition toward competency-based dangerous goods training.
2025
A Connected Business Ecosystem
KN Aviation became the Passenger Sales Agent for Uzbekistan Airways in Pakistan, while Digital Edgeworks and MDGC were established to strengthen the group’s digital capabilities and strategic coordination.

Building Healthcare for the Community
As a core member of KSIAJ, Mohsin Dharsi played a leading role in the planning, fundraising, and establishment of Fatimiyah Hospital in Pakistan, helping create a lasting institution that continues to serve the community.
Strengthening the Air Cargo Industry
Through active leadership in the Air Cargo Agents Association of Pakistan (ACAAP) and the Pakistan International Freight Forwarders Association (PIFFA), he worked to advance collaboration and professional standards across the logistics sector.

Transforming Industry Risk Management
The Default Insurance Program
In 2017, Mohsin Dharsi conceived and championed an innovative alternative to the traditional bank guarantee and insurance bond system required by IATA.
Under the conventional model, freight forwarders were required to maintain fixed-value financial guarantees, limiting growth and creating significant financial barriers for many businesses.
His proposal introduced a Default Insurance Program, allowing participating agents to pay a premium on each Air Waybill instead of maintaining a fixed guarantee. While the cost became transaction-based, businesses gained the flexibility to grow without being constrained by predetermined financial limits.
The concept was adopted across the industry and has since become the preferred model for the overwhelming majority of IATA freight forwarders in Pakistan, fundamentally changing how financial security is managed within the sector.
